On Dr. Martin Luther King’s birthday, the High Desert Black Heritage Committee honored the Victor Valley African American Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber was awarded the Eloise Gibson Award of Commitment.

This distinguish award is presented to individuals and/or organizations who exhibit outstanding leadership Economically, Civically, and Socially to enhance our community and impact our society as Dr. King did.
